Jessica Yu (she/they) first became a fan of Winning Ways in 2021 when shadowing the Financial Literacy program during their tenure as the Director of Planning and Partnership at EMERGE Connecticut, a trauma-informed reentry organization in New Haven, CT and program partner of Winning Ways.
Passionate about supporting the work of people impacted by the criminal legal system, Jessica appreciated Winning Ways’s empowering curriculum and facilitators who know firsthand the barriers produced by incarceration. In addition to providing nonprofits with operational and development support, Jessica currently works as a spiritual director in the New York Metropolitan area supporting women of color to live into their full rest and flourishing.
