Dr. Kevin Paulin has over a decade of experience serving diverse and underserved populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness, intellectual disabilities, mental health challenges, veterans, individuals reentering society after incarceration, and those in recovery. His career has been defined by a passion for empowering others through compassionate leadership and social impact. Before his current role, Kevin held managerial positions at Marrakech Inc. in Woodbridge, Connecticut, and Columbus House in New Haven, Connecticut, where he led programs supporting these communities.
In addition to his professional work, Kevin is a dedicated entrepreneur with a strong commitment to improving financial literacy within his community. As a Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI®), he regularly provides financial education to help others achieve economic empowerment. Kevin holds an associate degree in Business Management from Gateway Community College and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Charter Oak State College.
Kevin’s dedication to community service and education has earned him numerous accolades, including an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters (Hon. D.Hum.) from HBIU for his ongoing contributions. In recognition of his exceptional leadership and service, Kevin was named a 2024 100 Men of Color honoree. He also serves on the Board of Directors for The Connecticut Women’s Consortium, furthering his commitment to social justice and advocacy.
