United Way of Greater Waterbury mobilizes our ten-town region, amplifies its resources, and invests in approaches that advance equity and measurable outcomes.

The Neighborhood Cultural Vitality Grant provides support to arts and cultural programming and services within the city of New Haven. Under-served populations, mental health programs & facilities; youth & senior programs and centers; hospitals and mixed or lower income housing are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants should also consider use of New Haven’s public parks and spaces.

The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven is a philanthropic institution that was established in 1928 as the community’s permanent charitable endowment. For more than three generations, thousands of donors have built our community endowment by establishing permanent funds or making gifts to existing funds that distribute grants to a broad variety of issues and organizations.

The NewAlliance Foundation provides support to the not-for-profit community in four key areas: the arts, community development, health & human services, and youth & education

Established in 1923, Connecticut Community Foundation works to address the community’s critical issues, funds programs benefiting local residents, supports efforts to improve systems to foster more equitable outcomes for residents, strengthens local organizations through learning and outreach, and works with individuals, families and corporations to steward charitable and scholarship funds.

The Community Fund for Women & Girls is Greater New Haven’s only endowment dedicated to promoting the social and economic advancement of women and girls.

Huneebee Project envisions a world in which our youth, the community, and our environment are in mutual and collaborative relationship. Through a social enterprise that promotes transferable job-skill-building for youth, community engagement, and shared appreciation for our natural environment.

Project M.O.R.E., Inc. addresses the needs of ex-offenders through various programming and services that cater to the complexities each individual faces while transitioning back into the community.

The EMERGE model uses transitional employment and engages participants in wrap-around services to break the cycle of recidivism, build community, and inspire hope.

Community Partners in Action is a non-profit agency building community by providing services that promote accountability, dignity and restoration for people affected by the criminal justice system.

CSI’s mission is to positively impact the lives of their clients and their communities by providing services that facilitate skill development, enhance responsible citizenship, and increase overall well-being.

The mission of Albertus Magnus College is to provide men and women with an education that promotes the search for truth in all its dimensions and is practical in its application. CCPG provides Connecticut’s only 24-hour Problem Gambling Helpline, offering support via phone, chat, and text. CCPG also implements advocacy, prevention, outreach, and education programs serving students, veterans, and other at-risk populations.

The Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services is a health care agency whose mission is to promote the overall health and wellness of persons with behavioral health needs through an integrated network of holistic, comprehensive, effective, and efficient services and supports that foster dignity, respect, and self-sufficiency in those they serve. 

The Yale Department of Psychiatry is a world leader in patient care, research, and education. Prosperity House Inc. remains a mission-driven, 501c3 non-profit dedicated to providing high-quality sober living care for people in recovery from addictions and other life challenges.

Quality Counseling are a private Group Practice providing Affordable and Accessible Mental Health Therapy to Black Communities in Connecticut.
